How to trade on depop!

Image
Hi! I'm writing this blog post because a lot of people ask me how to get a lot of likes/sales on depop and how to know when to trade with other sellers! Here's my advice: Trading : Trading with other sellers on depop can be tricky, especially because it's risky. If you decide to trade with somebody and they don't send your item, there's no way to get a refund for what you lost, you can only get a refund for the shipping. There are two cases of trading on depop: when someone wants to trade with you, or when you want to trade with them! Here are steps for both scenarios! 1. If someone wants to trade with you: Make sure they're a reliable seller. Go to their account, and check how many stars they have. Make sure to see if they have good reviews as a BUYER or a SELLER. If somebody has no stars, don't trade with them. If somebody has never sold anything, don't trade with them. They may not understand how to trade and then decide not to go through with their e

How to get a full brandy set for under $25!

Image
Hi, everyone! Today, I'm going to tell you the secret to finding a full brandy set for under $25! I have used this method, and IT WORKS! So, brandy melville is a very popular clothing brand, and their coquette floral/plain sleep sets are very popular. The sets sell for up to $70-80 sometimes, based on whether or not the print is in stock on the website. The best way to get a brandy sleep set, in my experience, is to first find the shorts on Mercari. Mercari is a thrift app I LOVE and recommend people shop on. I've stopped buying on Depop almost entirely because of how expensive it's gotten, but its normalization of high prices make it a really good place to sell clothes. Here on brokecoolgirl.blogger.com, we aren't exactly depop girlies. INSTEAD, we shop on apps like Mercari, where you can find much better deals! I recommend starting by bookmarking the term "brandy shorts" on mercari and checking up on it once or twice a day to see if anything new has been lis

How to find a vintage ipod!

Image
Hi! So, I'm writing this post because I get a lot of people on my pinterest asking where I find the vintage ipods that I find: I'm here to tell you!  Vintage ipods are a super cute accessory, and they're also a very cheap way to listen to music if you don't feel like paying billions of dollars to get rid of ads on streaming sites! It's actually pretty easy to find vintage ipods, but I recommend Mercari as the best place to find them. Mercari is an app for used items (mostly clothing) but you can find other items, too! You shouldn't feel like you're taking a risk when you buy an item on Mercari because they have a really good return policy that will give you your money back if the seller lied about the quality/condition of the item (they sometimes let you keep the item, too! shhhh!)  If you want an ipod, first research which generation you want.  All the newest ones are (in my opinion) boring, so, as usual, vintage is the best place to look! I choose the 3rd

My ephemeral bow tattoo

Image
Hi, everyone! I'm new to blogging and this is the first actual blog post I've ever written! I'm going to link this to my pinterest, where I've posted a lot of photos of my bow tattoo! So, I got the idea of this tattoo from my super cool friend Alex. Alex lives in New York and she's an AMAZING artist, and she drew that pretty bow on my wrist when we were on a retreat at our school. I loved it and immediately knew I wanted to get it tattooed. But, because I'm 18, I didn't want to commit to a forever tattoo, and I decided to get it done at ephemeral in San Francisco! I've done lots and stick-and-pokes on my friends, which contributed to my desire to get this tattoo done professionally (even though most of my friends are artists, I trust professionals). I didn't want to pay the large price for the tattoo, so I sort of talked my artist into making it as big as possible within the smallest price range by rotating it in the little square they use to price t

About me

Hi! I'm going to keep my name private, but I'm an 18-year old pre-college student who's going to go to UCLA in the Fall. If I end up having an actually exciting life I'll make sure to post updates about that lol. In my free time, I like to write, hang out with my friends, buy/sell clothing, and do anything creative!

First blog

Hi, everyone! I don't think anybody is actually going to read this because it's my first blog post, but here's an explanation for what I'm trying to do here: I've spent a lot of time on the internet learning about dealhunting, and I'm going to use this page to share advice for where to get things and how to grow your own social media accounts on various platforms! Here are a few things I'm going to talk about: 1. How to grow your Depop: currently, I have a depop account sitting at around 1,700 followers and I make around $500 a month. Depop is super lucrative, and it's actually pretty easy to sell there once you get the hang of it! In my Depop articles, I'll give advice on where to buy things you sell on depop, and how to know when something will/will not sell. 2. How to post on pinterest: So, pinterest is the most confusing app in the history of the world when it comes to posting, and I'll help you navigate how to grow your pins and also how to
